In Purwokerto, Central Java, dozens of spectators were injured and evacuated to several hospitals after a VIP stand collapsed during the National Drift Speed Fest Championship at the Satria Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon. In Aceh, a member of the Army’s Military Police Corps died while assisting police in intercepting a drug trafficker. Aceh Police Chief Inspector General Ruddi Setiawan expressed his condolences over the incident. Meanwhile, the KPK explained how a bribery investigation involving the Rejang Lebong Regency Government expanded to include alleged corruption within the Bengkulu City Government.
