The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named Cilacap Regent Syamsul Auliya Rachman and Regional Secretary Sadmoko Danardono as suspects. The KPK also seized Rp 610 million in cash during the operation.
“The team also secured evidence in the form of documents, electronic evidence, and cash totalling Rp 610 million,” said Acting KPK Enforcement Deputy Asep Guntur Rahayu at a press conference at KPK’s Red and White Building on Saturday, 14 March 2025.
Asep stated that the cash was stored at the residence of Cilacap District Assistant II, Ferry Adhi Dharma. Asep indicated that the money had been collected from district agencies in Cilacap Regency for Year-End Allowance (THR) payments.
“These funds, amongst others, have been placed in goodie bags stored at FER’s private residence and were to be distributed as THR to external parties,” he said.
“Additionally, from a portion of these funds, some had just been received by FER from deposits by district agencies, which were secured in his office space,” he added.
