The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced the evidence seized in the bribery case involving the Regent of Muara Enim, Edison, and officials from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK). The seized items include cash amounting to Rp 200 million and one unit of a Mitsubishi Pajero SUV.

KPK Director of Investigation, Achmad Taufik Husein, explained that the Rp 200 million in cash was seized from suspect Augusz Dewanggara, also known as Angga, and an intermediary named Mulyono. Both individuals were found to be holding Rp 100 million each.

“In this case, the KPK team has also secured evidence in the form of Indonesian Rupiah cash, a four-wheeled vehicle, documents, and electronic evidence (BBE), including: Rp 100 million in cash from AGG; Rp 100 million in cash from MYN; and one unit of an SUV,” Taufik explained during a press conference at the KPK Red and White Building, South Jakarta, on Thursday (11/6/2026).

Taufik further detailed the role of Angga, a private sector individual who participated in receiving bribes from Regent Edison. Taufik stated that Angga received bribes from the Muara Enim Regency Government to alter BPK audit findings.

Taufik noted that the BPK had identified discrepancies in the procurement of smart boards at the Muara Enim Regency Education, Culture, Arts, and Sports Office, which exceeded materiality limits in the financial audit report. Consequently, the Regent, Edison, instructed his subordinates to manage these BPK findings.

“ABN, the Secretary of the Education and Culture Office in 2026, met AGG through Mr Mulyono, a private intermediary. During this meeting, ABN and AGG negotiated the required fee to alter the BPK audit findings,” Taufik explained.

Taufik then explained that Angga coordinated with suspect Titin Rita Lestari, a civil servant and technical controller, to follow up on the alteration of the BPK audit results. According to Taufik, Angga received a fee of Rp 100 million provided by Abi to facilitate the manipulation of the audit.

“Regarding AGG’s capacity as a private individual, he acted in concert with TTN, a state official serving as the technical controller or in her structural position as a Sub-Director in the South Sumatra Representative Office,” Taufik revealed.

“This led to the cooperation between AGG and TTN to address the request from the Muara Enim Regency Government to manipulate BPK findings related to the smart board procurement project in the Education Office.”

Taufik also explained that in charging Angga as a private recipient of bribes, the KPK is applying Article 20 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 1 of 2023 (the New Criminal Code) regarding complicity in criminal acts.

“It is important for everyone to know that in the current investigation, we are applying the charges under Article 20, or under the old Criminal Code, Article 55. This means there was cooperation with several parties, not acting alone. However, for further developments, we will provide updates as the ongoing investigation progresses,” he added.

The suspects in this case are:

  1. Angga (Private sector)

  2. Titin Rita Lestari (Civil Servant/Technical Controller)

  3. Edison (Regent of Muara Enim)

  4. Cory Erin Hardi (Marketing, PT Millenium Solusi Abadi)

  5. Fika (Director, PT Millenium Solusi Abadi)

Angga and Titin are charged under Article 12 a or b, or Article 11 of the Corruption Eradication Law, and/or Article 606 paragraph (2) of Law Number 1 of 2026 on Criminal Adjustment in conjunction with Article 20 letter c of the 2023 Criminal Code. Meanwhile, Edison, Cory, and Fika are charged under Article 605 letter a and/or letter b of Law Number 1 of 2026 on Criminal Adjustment and/or Article 606 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2026 in conjunction with Article 20 letter c of the 2023 Criminal Code.
