KPK Seizes Pajero Sport from Wife of Non-Active Kuansing Regent

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport from the wife of the non-active Regent of Kuantan Singingi, Suhardiman Amby. KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo confirmed the seizure on Monday, stating the vehicle belonged to Suci Nitia Edwar. The Pajero Sport was being transported from Riau to Jakarta at the time of the seizure. Suhardiman Amby was previously named a suspect along with the Kuansing Regional Secretary, Zulkarnain, following a sting operation on 29 June 2026. The case involves alleged bribery related to the buying and selling of positions within the Kuantan Singingi Regency Government. The KPK is also investigating Suhardiman for alleged gratuities concerning the release of limited production forest areas.
