The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested 13 people in a dawn raid (OTT) operation targeting Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri Thobari. The KPK also seized cash worth hundreds of millions of rupiah during the operation.

“In this dawn raid operation, in addition to KPK securing the individuals involved, electronic evidence documents and cash totalling hundreds of millions of rupiah were also secured,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK building in Kuningan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

Budi has not yet disclosed the exact amount of money seized. He stated that the agency is still conducting a series of investigations.

“We will certainly investigate matters related to procurement practices within the Rejang Lebong regency government, as well as the flow of money, and whether there are other parties suspected of receiving money related to project flows within the Rejang Lebong regency government,” he explained.

Budi Prasetyo previously stated that a total of 13 people were arrested in the operation. In addition to the regent, the KPK arrested Vice-Regent of Rejang Lebong Hendri Praja.

“Of the nine people brought to Jakarta this morning, one is the regent, then the vice-regent, and three others are civil servants in the Rejang Lebong regency area. The remaining four are private sector figures,” Budi said at the KPK building in South Jakarta on Tuesday (10 March).

Budi stated that the KPK team secured these individuals in the Rejang Lebong area during the night. They were briefly questioned at the local police station.

“These individuals were secured last night. So in the course of the operation, the team secured them in the Rejang Lebong area and also in the Bengkulu area, and the questioning was also conducted in two places: at Kepahiang Police Station and Bengkulu City Police Station,” he said.
