KPK Seizes Hundreds of Millions in Cash and Documents from Ono Surono's Home

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) seized evidence in the form of cash worth hundreds of millions, documents, and electronic evidence (BBE) from a search at the home of West Java DPRD Deputy Chairman Ono Surono, located in Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday (1/4/2026). “In this search, investigators secured and seized several documents, electronic evidence, and cash amounting to hundreds of millions of rupiah found in the room of ONS (Ono Surono),” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in his statement on Thursday (2/4/2026). Budi stated that the search activity was witnessed by his wife, family members, and local apparatus. “We emphasise that it was carried out in accordance with procedures. The investigators have shown their investigation administration,” he said. Previously, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the home of West Java DPRD Deputy Chairman Ono Surono, located in Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday (1/4/2026). “Today, Wednesday (1/4), investigators conducted a search at the home of ONS (Ono Surono), who is a member of the West Java Provincial DPRD, located in Bandung City,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in his statement on Wednesday.
