KPK Seizes House of Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq in Semarang
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) this week seized a house belonging to non-active Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq (FAR) in Semarang, Central Java. “Investigators seized one of FAR’s houses located in the Semarang area,” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told journalists in Jakarta on Thursday (18/6).
Budi added that on 15-16 June 2026, the KPK placed seizure notices on three buildings in Pekalongan, Central Java. “Investigators affixed seizure signs or placards at several previously seized locations, including three franchise retail shop units and a salon,” he said. He also reminded all parties not to attempt to cover up or damage the seizure signs installed by the KPK.
Fadia Arafiq was previously arrested on 3 March 2026 in Semarang alongside her aide and a confidant. The KPK also arrested 11 other individuals in Pekalongan, Central Java. The series of arrests was the KPK’s seventh sting operation of 2026 and coincided with the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah.
On 4 March 2026, the KPK named Fadia Arafiq as the sole suspect in a corruption case related to the procurement of outsourcing services and other procurements within the Pekalongan Regency Government for the 2023-2026 fiscal years. The KPK suspects Arafiq was involved in a conflict of interest by ensuring her family’s company, PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya (RNB), won several procurement contracts within the Pekalongan Regency Government. Fadia Arafiq and her family allegedly received Rp19 billion from these procurement contracts, with Rp13.7 billion enjoyed solely by the singer of ‘Cik Cik Bum Bum’ and her family, Rp2.3 billion distributed to PT RNB’s director and household assistant Rul Bayatun, and Rp3 billion in cash withdrawals yet to be distributed.
