The Corruption Eradasting Commission (KPK) has seized several pieces of evidence related to an alleged bribery case involving the procurement of goods and services within the Muara Enim Regency Government, following searches of two houses on 10 September 2026.

KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated in Jakarta on Friday that the evidence was seized from the residence of an employee of the Muara Enim Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, as well as from a private party involved in projects within the Muara Enim Regency.

“Moving forward, investigators will extract and analyse the information contained within the electronic evidence to assist in uncovering the details of this case,” said Budi.

The case originated when the KPK conducted a sting operation (OTT) on 7 and 8 June 2026, resulting in the detention of several individuals, including the Regent of Muara Enim, Edison.

On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in the case involving alleged bribery related to the procurement of goods and services, as well as other forms of receiving benefits within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025–2026 fiscal year.

The four suspects are Edison, the Secretary of the Muara Enim Education and Culture Office, Abi Nurwardani; a marketing employee of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi, Cory Erin Hardi; and Adi Triyadi, who is the nephew of Edison.
