KPK Seizes Electronic Evidence and Car in Kuansing Sting Operation
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have seized electronic evidence and a car from a sting operation (OTT) in Kuantan Singingi Regency (Kuansing), Riau. “The team secured electronic evidence in the form of financial transactions. In addition, the team also secured a four-wheeled vehicle,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, Tuesday. Budi stated that the car was seized because it is suspected of being an instrument of bribery by the parties involved in the operation. He said the OTT activity is related to alleged bribery for a position within the Kuansing Regency Government. In the KPK’s 14th sting operation of 2026, the anti-corruption agency arrested ten people in Kuansing and Jakarta. Five of the ten individuals were subsequently brought in for questioning at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building.
