KPK Seizes Documents from Bengkulu City PUPR Official's Home

KPK investigators brought three suitcases and one cardboard box containing documents from the search of the private residence of Agus Suhendra Wijaya, Head of Natural Resources at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR) of Bengkulu City.

The search was carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission at Agus Suhendra Wijaya’s private residence in Padang Nangka Subdistrict, Singaran Pati District, on Thursday from 10.00 to 13.00 WIB.

“From 10 o’clock, yes, the KPK carried out the search. What was taken included documents, correspondence, and a few files,” said RT 09 head Abdullah Pulungan in Bengkulu City.

Based on observations at the location, the house was heavily guarded by three police personnel, and the search activity also attracted the attention of a number of residents around the area.

Previously, on Wednesday night (12/8), the KPK seized three suitcases suspected of containing a number of documents from the private residence of Hendra Okta, a civil servant at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR) of Bengkulu City.

The seizure of the documents was carried out after investigators searched the house and private car of Hendra Okta in Nusa Indah Subdistrict, Ratu Agung District, Bengkulu City.

The KPK has also searched several private residences belonging to officials within the Bengkulu City Government, including on Friday (7/8) the house of Bengkulu City Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) Secretary Syofyan Tosoni in Penurunan Subdistrict, Ratu Samban District, Bengkulu City.

Then, on Thursday (6/8), the KPK searched the house of B Daditama (BDT), known as a confidant of inactive Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri Thobari, on Jalan Batu Galing, Rejang Lebong Regency.

Also searched was the private residence of former Bengkulu City official Arif Gunadi, who also serves as head of the Bengkulu Province Food Security Agency, in Gading Cempaka District, Bengkulu City.

In addition, the KPK has also examined the Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR) of Bengkulu City, Noprisman (NOP), on Monday (3/8) after searching his house and seizing Rp4 billion in cash in July 2026.
