KPK Seizes Documents During Search of Madiun City Communication and Informatics Chief's Home
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) seized a number of documents during a search of the home of Noor Aflah, Head of the Communication and Informatics Office of Madiun City, on Monday, 6 April 2026.
In addition, the KPK seized documents during searches of the homes of two private individuals on Tuesday, 7 April 2026.
“During those searches, investigators secured a number of electronic evidence items and documents believed to be related to the case, namely alleged extortion using the modus operandi of project fees (rewards, ed.), CSR funds, and other receipts or gratuities within the Madiun City Government in East Java,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Previously, on 19 January 2026, the KPK conducted a sting operation (OTT) against Madiun Mayor Maidi.
On the same date, the KPK revealed that the OTT against Maidi was related to project rewards as well as corporate social responsibility and environmental (CSR) funds in Madiun City.
On 20 January 2026, the KPK announced that three individuals had been named as suspects following the OTT, namely Madiun Mayor Maidi (MD), Rochim Ruhdiyanto (RR) as Maidi’s trusted aide, and Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Madiun City Thariq Megah (TM).
The KPK also announced that there are two clusters in the alleged extortion case involving project fees and CSR funds, as well as other receipts or gratuities within the Madiun City Government.
First, the alleged extortion involving suspects Maidi and Rochim Ruhdiyanto. Second, the alleged gratuity involving suspects Maidi and Thariq Megah.
