KPK Seizes Documents and Electronic Evidence from Ono Surono's House in Indramayu
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) seized evidence in the form of several documents and electronic evidence items during a search of the home of Deputy Chairman of the West Java Provincial Legislative Council, Ono Surono, located in Indramayu, West Java.
“For the search in Indramayu, we also update that during the search, investigators secured several documents and electronic evidence,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, on Monday (6/4/2026).
Budi stated that the documents are needed by investigators as material to be confirmed with several witnesses, including Ono Surono.
“This includes the possibility of scheduling an examination for Mr ONS (Ono Surono) to explain the investigators’ findings from the two search activities,” he said.
Homes in other locations have already been searched
The KPK initially searched the home of Deputy Chairman of the West Java Provincial Legislative Council, Ono Surono, located in Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday (1/4/2026).
The search is related to an alleged bribery case involving a project in Bekasi Regency that implicates the inactive Regent of Bekasi, Ade Kuswara Kunang.
“Today, Wednesday (1/4), investigators conducted a search at the home of ONS (Ono Surono), who is a member of the West Java Provincial Legislative Council, located in Bandung City,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in his statement on Wednesday.
From that search, the KPK seized evidence in the form of cash worth hundreds of millions of rupiah, documents, and electronic evidence.
“In this search, investigators secured and seized several documents, electronic evidence, and cash amounting to hundreds of millions of rupiah found in ONS’s (Ono Surono) room,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in his statement on Thursday (2/4/2026).
“We affirm that it was carried out in accordance with procedures. The investigators have shown their search warrant,” he said.
