The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed six items seized from Faizal Assegaf, the Director of PT Sinkos Multimedia Mandiri, in relation to the alleged corruption case within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance.

“Such as a monitor, then a camera, and also several other electronic devices,” stated KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.

However, he could not yet provide an estimate of the value of these six items.

The items include one Lumix S5IIX camera unit, up to an Apple monitor and mouse.

Meanwhile, Budi explained that KPK investigators have strong arguments for seizing these six items.

“So, the items seized by the investigators are certainly suspected to be related to the case, such as being suspected to have been obtained from the proceeds of corruption currently being handled by the KPK. Thus, the seizure of these items is part of the asset tracing or tracking process,” he said.

Previously, on 4 February 2026, the KPK conducted a sting operation (OTT) within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance.

On the same date, the KPK revealed that one of the individuals arrested in the OTT was Rizal, the Head of the West Sumatra Regional Customs Office.

On 5 February 2026, the KPK announced that six out of 17 people arrested were designated as suspects in the alleged bribery and gratification case related to the importation of counterfeit or imitation goods within Customs and Excise.

They are Rizal (RZL) as the Director of Enforcement and Investigation of Customs and Excise from 2024 to January 2026, Sisprian Subiaksono (SIS) as the Head of the Subdirectorate of Enforcement and Investigation Intelligence of Customs and Excise, and Orlando Hamonangan (ORL) as the Head of the Customs Intelligence Section.

Furthermore, John Field (JF) as the owner of Blueray Cargo, Andri (AND) as the Head of the Import Documentation Team of Blueray Cargo, and Dedy Kurniawan (DK) as the Operations Manager of Blueray Cargo.

On 26 February 2026, the KPK announced Budiman Bayu Prasojo (BBP), the Head of the Excise Intelligence Section of the Directorate of Enforcement and Investigation of Customs and Excise, as a new suspect in the case.

On 27 February 2026, the KPK announced that it was delving into alleged corruption in excise management. This delving was conducted particularly after the seizure of Rp5.19 billion in five suitcases from a safe house in Ciputat, South Tangerang, Banten, which is suspected to originate from customs and excise.
