Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) seized more than Rp 5 billion in cash during a raid related to an import bribery case involving Customs and Excise. KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said the raid was conducted at a location belonging to a related party in the Ciputat area of South Tangerang.

“During the raid, the team secured evidence consisting of 5 suitcases containing cash worth more than Rp 5 billion,” Budi said in a written statement on Friday (2/13).

The cash was in rupiah, US dollars, Singapore dollars, Hong Kong dollars, and ringgit. In addition, investigators also secured evidence in the form of documents and other electronic evidence.

“Investigators will examine every piece of evidence secured during this raid,” he said.

Previously, the KPK had named six individuals as suspects in the alleged bribery case related to goods importation at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise and the receipt of gratuities. They are former Director of Investigation and Enforcement at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise for the 2024–January 2026 period, Rizal; Head of the Intelligence Subdivision for Enforcement and Investigation at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Sisprian Subiaksono; Head of the Intelligence Section at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Orlando Hamonangan; PT Blueray owner John Field; Head of PT BR’s Import Documentation Team, Andri; and PT BR’s Operations Manager, Dedy Kurniawan.

The case originated in October 2025 through a criminal conspiracy between Orlando, Sisprian, and Dedy Kurniawan to manipulate the planning of import channels for goods entering Indonesia. There are two categories of channels in the service and oversight of imported goods regarding inspection before release from the customs zone: the green channel, which allows the release of imported goods without physical inspection, and the red channel, which requires physical inspection of goods.

Filar, a Directorate General of Customs and Excise employee, received orders from Orlando to adjust the red channel parameters and followed up by setting the rule set at 70 percent. The rule set data was then sent by the Directorate of Enforcement and Investigation to the Directorate of Customs and Excise Information (IKC) to have the parameters entered into the targeting machine (scanning/inspection equipment).

As a result of this manipulation, goods suspected to be counterfeit, imitation, and illegal from PT Blueray were able to enter Indonesia without inspection by Customs and Excise officers.
