KPK Searches West Lombok Regent's Office and Public Works Department
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continued its investigation into alleged corruption within the West Lombok Regency Government by searching several locations in West Nusa Tenggara on Thursday (23/7/2026). The searches were conducted at the West Lombok Regent’s Office, the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, and Settlement Areas Agency (PUPRPKP), and the regent’s pendopo. This action follows the KPK’s decision to name West Lombok Regent Lalu Ahmad Zaini as a suspect, alongside President Director of PT AMGM Sudirman and Director of PT Meconel Sistim Instrumen (MSI) Alvonsus Gani, in a case involving alleged conflicts of interest, bribery, and gratuities. The investigation is focused on the procurement of goods and services. KPK investigators were seen carrying documents and examining several rooms during the search process, which was conducted under police security. The KPK stated the searches were carried out to complete the evidence and trace documents or items suspected to be related to the criminal acts of corruption under investigation.
