KPK Searches Vehicle at West Lombok Regent's Pavilion in Corruption Probe
West Lombok (ANTARA) - A team from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined a Honda HR-V at the West Lombok Regent’s pendopo in West Nusa Tenggara on Thursday, as part of a series of searches linked to an investigation into alleged corruption.
As of Thursday evening, the KPK team was still carrying out the search at the Regent’s pendopo and had not yet provided an official statement on the outcome of the operation.
The vehicle examination was observed taking place after the KPK team completed its search of the West Lombok Regent’s office.
According to a search on the tax information application of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Revenue Agency (Bappenda), the metallic green 2024 Honda HR-V 1.5L SE CVT Special Edition with registration number DR 1650 DU is registered to Ayu Indra Rukmana, residing in Gunungsari District, West Lombok Regency.
The search at the pendopo began at 14:45 Central Indonesia Time. At the same time, the KPK team also conducted a search at the office of the West Lombok Regency Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas Agency (PUPRPKP).
Both searches were follow-up actions after the KPK raided the West Lombok Regent’s office and removed five suitcases suspected of containing documents.
Of the seven individuals, three were West Lombok Regent Lalu Ahmad Zaini, Director of PT Air Minum Giri Menang (AMGM) Sudirman, and Head of the West Lombok PUPRPKP Agency Lalu Ratnawi.
In addition to the seven individuals from West Lombok Regency, the KPK also secured one person named Alvonsus Gani, Director of PT Meconel Sistim Instrumen (MSI), in Jakarta.
Subsequently, on Tuesday (21/7), the KPK officially announced that three of them had been named suspects: Lalu Ahmad Zaini, Sudirman and Alvonsus Gani, on suspicion of conflicts of interest, bribery and the acceptance of gratification.
