KPK Searches Three Director-General Offices, Seizes Electronic Evidence

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) completed searches in three directorate-general offices at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) on Thursday (17/9) night.

The three locations searched were the office of the Director-General of Land and Spatial Control and Enforcement, Lampri; the office of the Director-General of Land and Spatial Survey and Mapping (SPPR), Virgo Eresta Jaya; and the office of the Director-General of Land Rights Determination and Registration (PHPT), Asnaedi. Additionally, the searches targeted several rooms in related directorates.

“The evidence secured by investigators during today’s search includes a number of documents and Electronic Evidence (BBE) which are certainly related to the processes and mechanisms of the services available within the Ministry of ATR/BPN,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, on Thursday.

Budi stated that all evidence will be extracted for further examination and analysis to assist investigators in dissecting the case under investigation. “This will clarify the construction of the case, including which parties play a crucial role—whether those already named as suspects or other parties who, based on the evidence found, may have a crucial role. The KPK remains open to further developments,” he added.

The KPK has named eight individuals as suspects in a case involving alleged bribery and other illegal receipts within the Ministry of ATR/BPN. The suspects include the Head of the Bogor I Regency Land Office, Sontang Coin Manurung; Golkar Party politician, Fahd El Fouz (alias Fahd A Rafiq); former Regent of Kebumen, Arif Sugiyanto; and President Director of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk, Adrianto Pitojo Adhi. The four other suspects are the Director-General of Land and Spatial Control and Enforcement of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Lampri, as well as Muhammad Fakhry, Erwin, and Rizal Pahlevi.

Arif, Fahd, Erwin, and Muhammad Fakhry have been identified by the KPK as trusted associates of the Minister of ATR/BPN, Nusron Wahid. The suspects have been detained for an initial 20-day period from 15 September to 4 October 2026, held at the KPK Merah Putih Building Detention Centre.

During a silent operation conducted in the Jabodetabek area on Monday (14/9), the KPK caught 19 individuals red-handed, discovering evidence amounting to Rp106.3 billion. This cash was found at the house of Arif Sugiyanto in several red suitcases containing Indonesian Rupiah and foreign currencies, specifically: Rp31.86 billion, US$2,611,500, S$1,974,500, SAR 910 (Saudi Arabian Riyal), and RM 981 (Malaysian Ringgit).

Further cash was found at the house of Rizal Pahlevi (private sector) amounting to Rp896 million; at the house of the Head of the Land Rights Determination and Registration Section at the Bogor I Regency Land Office, Zimamun Ni’am Aulawi, amounting to Rp8 million; and at the house of the Head of the Bogor I Regency Land Office, Sontang Coin Manurung, amounting to Rp49.5 million.
