The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has conducted another search in Bali related to the investigation into a limited stay permit case for foreign nationals (WNA) that has implicated former Deputy Minister of Immigration and Corrections (Imipas) Silmy Karim. The KPK searched a document service bureau in Bali.

“One service bureau office that frequently provides immigration document processing services for the Bali area was searched,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK building in Kuningan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (23/6/2026).

Investigators secured electronic documents suspected to be related to the case. The evidence will be examined further by the KPK. “Investigators secured a number of documents and electronic evidence suspected to be related,” he said. “Following the search, investigators will of course summon witnesses to confirm the findings,” he added.

When totalled, the cash seized from Silmy’s residence amounts to approximately Rp 293.25 million. “Apart from cash, several pieces of jewellery, a bicycle, and motor vehicles including a Vespa, a large motorcycle, and a sports car were also seized,” Budi added.
