KPK Searches Ono Surono's House in Indramayu, Documents and Electronic Evidence Seized

Jakarta, VIVA – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has carried out a search at the home of West Java Deputy Provincial Council Chairman Ono Surono (ONS) in Indramayu, West Java, on Thursday, 2 April 2026. From the search, the KPK secured a number of documents and electronic evidence. “Regarding the search in Indramayu, we also update that during the search, investigators secured several documents and electronic evidence,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Monday, 6 April 2026. The seized items, Budi said, will be further investigated by the investigators with the relevant parties, including Ono Surono. “This includes the possibility of scheduling an examination for Mr ONS to explain the investigators’ findings,” he stated. It is known that this search is a continuation of the previous KPK search at Ono Surono’s house located in Bandung, West Java. The KPK secured cash amounting to hundreds of millions of rupiah from the search of the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) politician’s home. “In this search, investigators secured and seized a number of documents, electronic evidence, and cash worth hundreds of millions of rupiah,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Thursday. Furthermore, Budi said the cash and other seized items were found by the KPK in Ono Surono’s room.
