The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has conducted a search at a house belonging to the inactive Regent of Sukoharjo, Etik Suryani, in Laweyan. The property is suspected to be the location where she stored 2.5 kilograms of gold. The two-storey house, located in Kampung Jagalan, Laweyan, is predominantly red and grey. A garage with a red iron gate is situated beside the house, containing two cars and several motorcycles. No activity was visible inside the residence. The front of the house is adorned with various flowers and plants, and the road is narrow, allowing only one-way traffic for four-wheeled vehicles. KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that investigators secured several documents during the search, which are related to the extortion case implicating the regent.
