REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed reports of a search at the home of Ono Surono (ONS), Deputy Chairman of the West Java Provincial Legislative Council and a PDIP politician. The search pertains to the investigation of an alleged corruption case involving project bribes within the Bekasi Regency Government, which has ensnared the inactive Bekasi Regent, Ade Kuswara Kunang (ADK).

“In the continuation of the investigation into the alleged criminal act of corruption related to project bribe money in the Bekasi Regency Government environment, today, Wednesday, investigators conducted a search at the home of ONS, who is a member of the West Java Provincial Legislative Council,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Wednesday (1/4/2026).

The KPK only stated that the searched house is located in Bandung City but did not provide details on the address. The KPK noted that the search process is still ongoing at this time.

“The location is in Bandung City. The activity is still ongoing; we will update on the developments,” Budi said.

It is recorded that the KPK previously summoned Ono Surono to the KPK’s Red and White Building on Thursday (15/1/2026) for examination as a witness. During that examination, Ono admitted to being questioned about the alleged flow of bribe money in the case involving Ade Kuswara Kunang.

The KPK has already designated Bekasi Regent for the 2025–present period, Ade Kuswara Kunang (ADK), along with his father HM Kunang (HMK), as suspects in the alleged corruption case involving the receipt of gifts or promises in the form of project bribe money.
