Madiun (ANTARA) - A team of investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the home of Noor Aflah, the Head of the Communications and Informatics Agency (Diskominfo) of Madiun City, located in Rejomulyo Ward, Kartoharjo Subdistrict, Madiun City, East Java, on Monday. The search is believed to be a follow-up to the case of alleged extortion involving project kickbacks and corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds, as well as other gratifications, within the Madiun City Government, implicating the inactive Mayor Maidi. Several vehicles belonging to the investigators were parked in the garage during the search process. From the search, officers secured two mobile phones and documents related to official travel or SPPD. Noor Aflah confirmed the search took place. He stated that the investigators conducted questioning and took several of his documents. “Besides the phones, they took my SPPD notes and expense papers. That’s all,” he said. It is known that the KPK has named three suspects in this case: the inactive Mayor of Madiun, Maidi, the inactive Head of Public Works (PUPR), Thariq Megah, and private individual Rochim Ruhdiyanto. The three were named as suspects following a sting operation conducted by the KPK on 19 January 2026. To date, the KPK investigation team is still examining several witnesses to uncover the alleged corruption and gratifications case in the Madiun City environment.
