Mataram (ANTARA) — The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has searched the home of Sudirman, Chief Executive of PT Air Minum Giri Menang (AMGM), in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, as part of its investigation into an alleged corruption case in West Lombok Regency.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo confirmed that the follow-up search was carried out by investigators on the island of Lombok on Friday evening.

“Yes, that is correct,” Budi said when contacted via text message.

The search began at around 9.00 pm Central Indonesian Time at Sudirman’s two-storey house at BTN Bumi Kodya Asri, Block A Number 17/18, Mataram. The KPK team arrived in four minibuses escorted by personnel from the Mobile Brigade unit of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police.

Local residents confirmed the ownership of the house. A woman claiming to be a family member greeted the arriving KPK team.

“Yes, I accompanied them. They searched Sudirman’s main bedroom,” she said.

Nurmalina said the KPK team also searched a white Honda HR-V. According to her, no items were seized from the vehicle.

Before searching Sudirman’s home, the KPK team searched the office of CV Dyas Karya Konstruksi (DKK) at BTN Mavilla Rengganis in West Lombok Regency, from 10.40 am until 7.08 pm Central Indonesian Time. Investigators took away three suitcases containing documents from the premises.

Earlier, Budi said the searches conducted since Thursday (23 July) at several locations in West Lombok Regency formed part of investigators’ efforts to gather additional evidence following the arrest operation on Monday (20 July).

In the case, the KPK has named West Lombok Regent Lalu Ahmad Zaini, PT AMGM chief executive Sudirman, and PT Meconel Sistim Instrumen (MSI) chief executive Alvonsus Gani as suspects in an alleged case of conflict of interest, bribery, and acceptance of gratuities related to goods and services procurement within the West Lombok Regency Government during the 2024–2026 period.
