KPK Searches Home of BPK Member Bobby Rizaldi

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the private residence of Audit Board (BPK) Member V Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi in Jakarta on Tuesday (14/7). “It is true, today investigators conducted a search at the residence of Mr BB located in the Jakarta area,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo when confirmed via written message on Tuesday (14/7). This coercive measure is related to the investigation of an alleged bribery case concerning BPK findings on a number of procurements in the Muara Enim Regency Government. Budi stated that investigators found and seized evidence allegedly related to the case. “In this search, investigators secured several items of Electronic Evidence (BBE),” Budi said. “This BBE will subsequently be extracted for the purpose of deepening the information required by investigators,” he added. Budi explained that the search was conducted to complete the additional evidence needed in the investigation process of the case related to alleged bribery in the BPK audit in the Muara Enim Regency Government. Previously, the KPK had already searched the South Sumatra BPK office. Several pieces of evidence seized included audit working paper documents, documents on changes from Qualified Opinion (WDP) findings to Unqualified Opinion (WTP) specifically for the Muara Enim Regency Government, documents related to efforts to make further changes after the KPK’s hand-arrest operation, as well as indications of alleged intervention from the Central BPK to alter the audit findings. The KPK has announced five suspects in this case. Three are alleged as bribe givers: Muara Enim Regent for the 2025-2030 period, Edison, and parties from PT Millenium Solusi Abadi (MSA), namely Cory Erin Hardi and Fika. The other two are alleged as bribe recipients: BPK civil servant and technical controller Titin Rita Lestari and Augusz Dewanggara alias Angga, a private party.
