KPK: Search of BPK Member Bobby Rizaldi's Home Based on Evidence

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that the search of the home of Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) member V, Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, was conducted based on leads. “The search carried out by investigators is of course based on leads and the investigators’ belief that the locations searched are believed to contain additional evidence needed,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Wednesday. Budi explained that the additional evidence investigators believed to be at the former House of Representatives (DPR RI) member’s home relates to an alleged bribery case involving the conditioning of BPK audit results in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. “In this case, it is certainly related to the audit process or mechanism carried out by the BPK on the Muara Enim Regency Government,” he said. He explained that the audit was allegedly conditioned so that initial BPK findings were subsequently removed, thus not impacting the opinion assessment of the Muara Enim Regency Government. Previously, the KPK arrested 10 people in a sting operation (OTT) on 7–8 June 2026. Five people were arrested in Jakarta and five others in South Sumatra. In the KPK’s 12th OTT of 2026, Muara Enim Regent Edison was one of those detained. On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in a suspected bribery case related to the procurement of goods and services and other receipts within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025–2026 Fiscal Year. The four suspects are Edison, Muara Enim Education and Culture Office Secretary Abi Nurwardani, PT Millenium Solusi Abadi marketing employee Cory Erin Hardi, and Adi Triyadi, Edison’s nephew. The KPK then conducted a follow-up OTT on 10 June 2026 and arrested five BPK civil servants. That operation was the KPK’s 13th OTT in 2026. Subsequently, on 11 June 2026, the KPK named five suspects in a suspected bribery case related to the conditioning of BPK audit results for the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025 Fiscal Year. The five suspects are Edison, Cory Erin Hardi, PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Director Fika Nur Alawi, private party Augusz Dewanggara who is suspected of having been a staff expert for Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, and BPK civil servant who previously served as Head of the BPK Representative Audit Team for South Sumatra, Titin Rita Lestari.
