KPK Seals Offices and Homes in Pemalang Regent Sting Operation

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has sealed the office of the Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Department in Pemalang and two houses following the arrest of Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro in a sting operation. The two houses, located in the Mutiara Residence housing complex, were sealed on Tuesday night (28/7). One of the sealed houses is known to belong to a man with the initials O, who is reportedly a contractor and a relative of Regent Anom. KPK Deputy Chairperson Fitroh Rohcahyanto confirmed the arrest but stated that the commission has not yet provided details on the number of people detained or the specific case involved.
