Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled summonses for two members of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) who are suspects in a corruption case involving the misallocation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds from Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), namely Heri Gunawan (HG) and Satori (S).

“We have communicated with the investigators. For Mr HG and S, we will likely summon them soon and take coercive measures,” said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Monday.

On the other hand, he stated that the KPK is thoroughly examining statements received by investigators during the ongoing probe.

“This is not only about the distribution of the CSR funds themselves, but also how they were used, whether they were truly allocated for their intended purposes,” he said.

When asked if there was political pressure in the BI-OJK CSR case investigation leading to the suspects not being detained, he assured there was none.

“There is no political involvement. However, this is purely technical in our investigation process, as we must verify exactly how every rupiah of the CSR funds was spent,” he explained.

The KPK is currently investigating allegations of corruption in the allocation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds, as well as in the use of BI’s Social Program (PSBI) and Financial Services Counsellor (PJK) funds from 2020 to 2023.

The case originated from PPATK’s transaction analysis report and public complaints, with the KPK commencing a general investigation in December 2024.

KPK investigators have conducted raids at several locations suspected of holding evidence related to the case.

These included the BI building on Thamrin Street in Central Jakarta, searched on 16 December 2024, and the OJK office, searched on 19 December 2024.

On 7 August 2025, the anti-corruption agency formally named Satori (ST) and Heri Gunawan (HG), members of the DPR RI’s Commission XI for the 2019-2024 term, as suspects. Both currently serve in the 2024-2029 DPR term.
