Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has stated that summoning Audit Board (BPK) member Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi depends on the needs of investigators to uncover the alleged bribery case involving the conditioning of BPK findings on the Muara Enim Regency Government. “The summoning of any witness is, of course, based on the needs of the investigation process,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Wednesday evening (17/6). Therefore, Budi said the possibility of summoning anyone as a witness in the case is always open if investigators require their testimony. “There is always the possibility for investigators to summon any witness whose knowledge is needed to explain and clarify the construction of the case, thereby assisting this investigation process, including to complete the investigation files of the parties who have been named as suspects or if there is new material later,” he said. Meanwhile, he stated that the KPK is currently investigating the role of a private party who has been named as one of the suspects in the case, namely Augusz Dewanggara alias Angga. “We are investigating the role of this private party. Why could he gain access to the BPK? Why could he become a bridge or intermediary to internal BPK members to then alter the audit results conducted by the BPK in the Muara Enim Regency Government? We will later see what the nexus looks like,” he said. Previously, the KPK arrested 10 people in a sting operation (OTT) on 7-8 June 2026. Five people were arrested in Jakarta, and five others in South Sumatra. In the KPK’s 12th OTT of 2026, Muara Enim Regent Edison was one of the parties arrested. On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in the alleged bribery case related to the procurement of goods and services and other receipts within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The four suspects are Edison, Muara Enim Education and Culture Agency Secretary Abi Nurwardani, PT Millenium Solusi Abadi marketing employee Cory Erin Hardi, and Adi Triyadi, who is Edison’s nephew. The KPK then conducted a follow-up OTT on 10 June 2026, arresting five state civil servants (ASN) from the BPK. This operation became the KPK’s 13th OTT of 2026. On 11 June 2026, the KPK named five people as suspects in the alleged bribery case for conditioning the BPK audit on the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025 fiscal year. They are Edison, Cory Erin Hardi, PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Director Fika Nur Alawi, Augusz Dewanggara as a private party, and BPK ASN who previously served as Head of the Audit Team for the BPK South Sumatra Representative Office, Titin Rita Lestari.
