Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that a substantial portion of PT Raja Nusantara Berdaya (RNB), the family-owned company of Fadia Arafiq, was staffed by the Bupati Pekalongan’s campaign team. ‘The majority of PT RNB’s staff were part of the Bupati’s campaign team,’ KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu told reporters at the Merah Putih Building, KPK, in Jakarta, on Wednesday. Rahayu said some of the employees were assigned to work in several regional device work units within the Pekalongan Regency government, namely as outsourced manpower (tenaga alih daya) or outsourcing. He added that Fadia subsequently became a suspect in a case of alleged corruption after involvement in conflicts of interest through PT RNB. He also said Fadia received Rp5.5 billion as the beneficiary of PT RNB after the company won procurement of goods and services within the Pekalongan Regency Government during the 2023-2026 financial years. The KPK said it arrested Pekalongan Bupati Fadia Arafiq along with aides and trusted associates in the Semarang area, Central Java. It then announced the arrest of 11 other individuals from Pekalongan, Central Java. On 4 March 2026, KPK designated Fadia Arafiq as the sole suspect in a case of alleged corruption related to outsourcing services procurement (tenaga alih daya) and other procurement within the Pekalongan Regency Government for the 2023-2026 fiscal year.
