KPK says Pekalongan SKPD must provide HPS to Fadia Arafiq's family-owned company
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that the regional government work units (SKPD) within the Pekalongan Regency Government in Central Java must provide Harga Perkiraan Sendiri (HPS) to PT Raja Nusantara Berdaya (RNB), the family-owned company of Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq, before carrying out procurements of goods and services. SKPDs comprising the offices, regional general hospital, and districts must provide the HPS to PT Raja Nusantara Berdaya (RNB) before conducting procurements. ‘Each regional apparatus that will conduct procurements is asked to submit the Harga Perkiraan Sendiri (HPS). So, for any procurement, they are requested to first obtain the estimated price,’ said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu at the Red and White Building (Gedung Merah Putih) KPK, Jakarta, on Wednesday. He explained that Fadia Arafiq asked the SKPDs to do so so that PT RNB could submit bids close to the HPS. ‘That violates the procedures in the procurement process. It should not be done that way,’ he said. ‘Because the one requesting it is Mrs Fadia Arafiq, the officials or regional units there obviously cannot refuse,’ he added. On 3 March 2026, the KPK arrested Fadia Arafiq along with aides and trusted associates in the Semarang area, Central Java. Subsequently, the KPK announced the arrests of 11 other individuals from Pekalongan, Central Java. That sequence of arrests marked the seventh KPK hand-catching operation (OTT) in 2026 and coincided with Ramadan. On 4 March 2026, the KPK named Fadia Arafiq as the sole suspect in a case of alleged corruption related to outsourcing services or labour supply, and other procurements in the Pekalongan Regency Government for the 2023-2026 budget year.
