The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has stated that the Muara Enim Regency Government prepared a sum of money, allegedly to bribe the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK), sourced from procurement partners. In this case, the Muara Enim Regency Government has been named as a suspect for allegedly giving bribes.

“The receipt of the money was among others from Ms FK (Fika), a private party or Director of MSA (PT Millenium Solusi Abadi), through her marketing agent whom we named a suspect yesterday, namely Ms CRH (Cory Erin Hardi),” said Acting KPK Director of Investigations Achmad Taufik Husein at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Thursday (11/6/2026).

Taufik explained that both Fika and Cory were partners of the Muara Enim Regency Government in the provision of interactive whiteboards for the Education and Culture Office. He said Cory had given approximately Rp500 million to the Secretary of the Muara Enim Education and Culture Office, Abi Nurwardani (ABN), as a representative of the district government.

He explained that around Rp200 million of the Rp500 million was then distributed by Abi to BPK parties, namely a private individual named Augusz Dewanggara alias Angga, and a person with the initials MYN. According to him, Abi provided the money to alter the BPK South Sumatra Representative Office’s audit findings on the Muara Enim Regency Government’s financial report for the 2025 fiscal year.

Previously, the KPK arrested 10 people in a sting operation on 7-8 June 2026. Five people were arrested in Jakarta, and five others in South Sumatra. In the KPK’s 12th sting operation of 2026, Muara Enim Regent Edison was among those arrested. On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in the alleged bribery case related to procurement of goods and services and other receipts within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025-2026 fiscal years.
