JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) says it has no information about a meeting between Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq and Central Java Governor Ahmad Lutfhi as part of a sting operation (OTT).

‘Since we were at the command post, there was no information about that,’ said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu at the Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday (4 March 2026).

Asep only confirmed that Fadia’s arrest was indeed carried out in Semarang, not in Pekalongan.

‘In the end, after leaving Pekalongan, some team members moved to Semarang. They almost lost the person involved,’ he said.

Earlier, Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq disclosed the chronology of her arrest in the sting operation conducted by the KPK.

Fadia said the KPK team initially raided her house, but at that time she was with Central Java Governor Ahmad Lutfhi.

‘And at the time of the arrest, when they raided the house, I was with the Central Java Governor,’ Fadia said as she was led to a detention vehicle at the Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday (4 March 2026).

‘So I did not commit any bribery or anything, by God there was not,’ she added.

Fadia said her meeting with Governor Ahmad Lutfhi only discussed a permit related to not being able to attend the Free Nutritious Meals Programme (MBG).

‘We did not discuss an issue of permission because I could not attend the MBG event,’ she said.

Fadia also denied that her company participated in the procurement of goods and services within the Pekalongan Regency government.

Fadia said she would discuss with her legal team to file a pretrial suit relating to the alleged corruption case she faces.

‘Yes, I will discuss with my lawyer, because by God there is no OTT, not a rupiah, not even a head of department,’ she declared.
