Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed that the search of the residence of Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) member V, Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, lasted for two days.

“So, the search took quite a long time, from Monday (13/7) evening and ended on Tuesday (14/7) in the early hours. So, investigators conducted the search for two days,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Wednesday.

When asked whether investigators encountered any obstacles during the search that necessitated two days, Budi stated there were no issues with the forced effort. “There were no obstacles in the field,” Budi responded to the question.

He further explained that the search took two days because investigators continued to look for evidence to help uncover the alleged bribery case related to conditioning BPK audit results in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. “So, there was evidence needed by investigators, and the search continued because the information was required to assist the process of uncovering this case,” he explained.

Previously, the KPK conducted a sting operation (OTT) on 7-8 June 2026 and arrested 10 individuals, five in Jakarta and five in South Sumatra. One of the parties detained in the KPK’s 12th OTT of 2026 was Muara Enim Regent Edison.

On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in the alleged bribery case related to the procurement of goods and services and other receipts within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The suspects are Edison; Abi Nurwardani, Secretary of the Muara Enim Education and Culture Office; Cory Erin Hardi, a marketing employee of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi; and Adi Triyadi, Edison’s nephew.

The KPK then conducted a follow-up sting operation on 10 June 2026 and arrested five BPK civil servants. This operation was the KPK’s 13th OTT of 2026.

Subsequently, on 11 June 2026, the KPK named five suspects in the alleged bribery case involving the conditioning of BPK audit results for the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025 fiscal year. The suspects are Edison, Cory Erin Hardi, PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Director Fika Nur Alawi, private party Augusz Dewanggara who allegedly once served as an expert staff to Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, and BPK civil servant Titin Rita Lestari who once served as Head of the BPK Audit Team for the South Sumatra Representative Office.

The KPK confirmed on 14 July 2026 that it had searched Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi’s home and seized a number of electronic evidence items.
