KPK Reveals Results of Bobby Rizaldi Examination, Probes Alleged Audit Opinion Change in Muara Enim
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed the substance of its questioning of Member V of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia, Bobby Rizaldi, as part of an investigation into an alleged bribery case linked to the results of a procurement audit at the Muara Enim Regency Government (Pemkab) in South Sumatra.
During the questioning, investigators probed the BPK audit process, which is alleged to be connected to the change in the financial statement opinion of the Muara Enim Regency Government from Fair with Exceptions (WDP) to Fair without Exceptions (WTP).
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said Bobby was questioned alongside four other witnesses to strengthen the evidence in the case.
“This relates to the alleged arrangement of audit findings carried out by the BPK in Muara Enim Regency, which subsequently also influenced the change of opinion from WDP to WTP for the Muara Enim Regency Government,” said Budi Prasetyo on Thursday, 16 July 2026.
Five Witnesses Questioned by the KPK
In addition to Bobby Rizaldi, investigators also questioned a number of officials and employees within the BPK of the Republic of Indonesia, namely:
Tuning Rahayu, Expert Staff to BPK Member V.
Widhi Widayat, Director General of State Financial Audit (PKN) V at the BPK.
Wahyu, Head of the AKN V Secretariat at the BPK.
Adhony, a civil servant (ASN) at the BPK.
According to the KPK, the witnesses were questioned to complete the body of evidence and strengthen the construction of the case being handled by investigators.
“This testimony will also complement the questioning already carried out on the suspects,” said Budi.
Bobby Questioned for Nearly Nine Hours
Based on observations, Bobby Rizaldi arrived at the KPK’s Merah Putih building at around 10.00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
He only left the KPK building at around 19.14 WIB after undergoing questioning for nearly nine hours.
After being questioned, Bobby said he had provided all the information required by investigators.
“Everything has been conveyed to the investigators, and we fully support this process and hope it is concluded swiftly,” said Bobby.
However, Bobby gave no response when asked about the search of his home previously carried out by KPK investigators.
He also chose not to answer questions regarding his closeness to one of the suspects, Augusz Dewanggara alias Angga, who is known to have served as his expert staff when he was still a member of the House of Representatives (DPR) of the Republic of Indonesia.
