The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has said that PT Raja Nusantara Berdaya (RNB), the family-owned company of Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq, received funds amounting to Rp46 billion in 2023-2026. Deputy for Enforcement and Execution at the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu explained that the tens of billions came from winning tenders for outsourcing services or manpower supply within the Pekalongan Regency government, Central Java. ‘The Rp46 billion comes from contracts between PT RNB and the regional apparatus of the Pekalongan Regency government,’ he said at Gedung Merah Putih KPK, Jakarta, on Thursday, 5 March 2026. He noted that Rp22 billion was subsequently used to pay outsourcing workers’ salaries, leaving about Rp24 billion. Furthermore, he said Rp19 billion of the remaining amount was then distributed to Fadia Arafiq’s family and her trusted associates. Earlier, on 3 March 2026, KPK arrested Fadia Arafiq along with aides and trusted individuals in Semarang, Central Java. The KPK then announced the arrest of 11 others from Pekalongan, Central Java. The sequence of arrests formed part of KPK’s seventh arrest operation (OTT) in 2026 and coincided with the Ramadan month. On 4 March 2026, KPK named Fadia Arafiq as the sole suspect in a case of alleged corruption related to outsourcing services procurement or manpower, and other procurement within the Pekalongan Regency government for the 2023-2026 budget year.
