KPK Reveals Items Seized from Faizal Assegaf: Camera-Keyboard
The KPK seized a total of six items during the examination of Faizal Assegaf as a witness in the import case at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance. The seized items consist of electronic devices.
In images shared by the KPK, several of the seized electronic items are visible, including a computer screen, desktop, keyboard, mouse, and voice transmitter. Most of these electronic devices are Apple-branded.
“The items seized by the investigators are electronic goods such as a monitor, camera, and several other electronic devices,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (15/4/2026).
However, further details regarding the value of the seized electronic items have not yet been specified. Budi stated that the items were seized because they are suspected to have been obtained from corrupt practices.
“So, the items seized by the investigators are certainly related to the case, suspected to be obtained from the proceeds of alleged criminal corruption that is currently being handled by the KPK,” he explained.
Previously, the KPK seized a total of six items during the examination of Faizal Assegaf as a witness in the import case at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance. The KPK stated that Faizal admitted to the investigators that the seized items were given by one of the corruption suspects in the Directorate General of Customs and Excise case.
“As far as I recall, there are six items seized from the individual. Up to now, they are still in the form of goods. The details will be provided tomorrow; there are several electronic devices,” explained KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists at the Merah Putih KPK building, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/4).
“Regarding the examination of the alleged receipt of goods or facilities by the individual, this has also been admitted to the investigators by the individual, and the goods received by the individual have also been seized by the investigators,” he added.
