KPK Reveals Identity of Four Suspects Apart from Rejang Lebong Regent in Bengkulu

Jakarta — The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed the identities of four suspects apart from the regional head in Bengkulu, namely Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri Thobari (MFT).

“HEP as Head of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Area Office of Rejang Lebong, IRS as a private party from PT SMS, then EDM as a private party from CV MU, and YK as a private party from CV AA,” stated KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu at the Red and White Building of the KPK in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Based on information compiled, the suspects are Head of the Department of Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas Harry Eko Purnomo (HEP), and Irsyad Satria Budiman (IRS) as a private party from PT Statika Mitra Sarana.

Then Edi Manggala (EDM) as a private party from CV Manggala Utama, as well as Youki Yusdiantoro (YK) as a private party from CV Alpagker Abadi.

Meanwhile, Asep revealed that Fikri Thobari together with HEP served as alleged bribe recipients, whilst IRS, EDM and YK are alleged bribe givers in a case involving alleged bribes for project kickbacks within the Rejang Lebong Regency Government, Bengkulu, for the 2025-2026 budget year.

Previously, on 9 March 2026, the KPK arrested Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri Thobari, Deputy Regent Hendri, and 11 others in a coordinated arrest operation (OTT). This operation was related to alleged project bribes within the Rejang Lebong Regency Government, Bengkulu.

On 10 March 2026, the KPK brought the Regent and Deputy Regent of Rejang Lebong together with seven others to Jakarta for intensive questioning.

On the same date, the KPK also announced Fikri Thobari as one of five suspects in an alleged corruption case. The roles of these five individuals are two as recipients and three as alleged bribe givers.
