KPK reveals husband and son of Fadia Arafiq received Rp13.7 billion in corruption proceeds

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) disclosed that the husband and son of Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq (FAR) received funds from alleged acts of corruption amounting to Rp13.7 billion during 2023-2026. “FAR amounting to Rp5.5 billion, ASH as the regent’s husband Rp1.1 billion, MSA as the regent’s son Rp4.6 billion, and MHN as the regent’s son Rp2.5 billion,” said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu in Jakarta, on Wednesday (4/3). The identities of Fadia Arafiq’s husband and children are Mukhtaruddin Ashraff Abu (ASH), a member of Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives; Muhammad Sabiq Ashraff (MSA), a member of Pekalongan Regency DPRD; and Mehnaz Na (MHN). He said the family of Fadia Arafiq also received around Rp5.3 billion. Therefore, the total receipts by the family reached Rp19 billion. On 3 March 2026, the KPK arrested Fadia Arafiq together with her aides and trusted associates in the Semarang area, Central Java. Subsequently, the KPK announced the arrest of 11 other people from Pekalongan, Central Java.
