The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed the construction of the alleged criminal act of corruption in the allocation of additional Hajj quotas for the 2023–2024 fiscal year, following the inaugural trial of defendant and former Religious Affairs Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas at the Central Jakarta District Court. KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated on Tuesday (11/8) that the state financial losses in this case have been confirmed and calculated directly by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), reaching a value of Rp622 billion.
