The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has decided not to follow up on a gratuity report submitted by Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni. KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Aminudin confirmed the decision on Friday (17/7), stating that the report was rejected based on KPK Regulation (Perkom) Number 1 of 2026, which amends the previous regulation on gratuity reporting. Under Article 14 of the new regulation, a gratuity report is not processed if the object is perishable, cannot be sold or used, or if the report is deemed to have been submitted improperly.

Meanwhile, KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo indicated that while the administrative gratuity report has been closed, the minister’s potential involvement is still being investigated in a separate criminal case. The investigation focuses on alleged bribery involving Kuantan Singingi Regent Suhardiman Amby. The KPK is probing the connection between the minister and the regent, who was arrested for allegedly collecting money from various parties to be given to the minister. The regent and two other suspects, Regional Secretary Zulkarnain and Director of PT Mitra Ideal Consultant Ardiles, have been detained for 20 days in connection with the case.
