Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that two witnesses failed to appear for questioning in the investigation into alleged corruption concerning the provision of credit facilities by the Indonesia Export Financing Agency (LPEI). The two witnesses are Chandra Adiwijaya Hong, director/owner/responsible person of PT Mitra Karya Usaha Sejahtera, and Hadi Surya, director/owner/responsible person of PT Daya Sakti Unggul Corp. “Both witnesses did not attend,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Wednesday. “The investigators will coordinate and reschedule the next examination,” he added. The examination relates to the investigation of alleged corruption in the granting of credit facilities by LPEI. The two suspects from LPEI are Executive Director I of the Indonesia Export Financing Agency, Dwi Wahyudi, and Executive Director IV of LPEI, Arif Setiawan. Meanwhile, three suspects from the debtor side of PT Petro Energy (PE) are President Director of PT Caturkarsa Megatunggal/Chief Commissioner of PT PE, Jimmy Masrin; President Director of PT PE, Newin Nugroho; and Finance Director of PT PE, Susi Mira Dewi Sugiarta. The KPK also designated Hendarto as a suspect on 28 August 2025 for the debtor cluster of PT Sakti Mait Jaya Langit and PT Mega Alam Sejahtera in the PT Bara Jaya Utama group. In this case, there are 15 debtors who received credit facilities from LPEI and are suspected of causing state losses of more than Rp11 trillion.
