The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has conducted an examination of Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, a member of the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) Group V. Bobby was questioned as a witness in the alleged bribery case involving the inactive Regent of Muara Enim, Edison.

“He attended the rescheduled examination in the investigation of the alleged corruption case involving bribery related to the BPK audit in the Muara Enim Regency Government,” stated KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a written statement on Monday (28/09/2026).

He noted that Bobby had arrived at 09:57 WIB. Budi did not specify the exact details being investigated regarding Bobby’s testimony.

“At this time, the individual is still undergoing examination by investigators,” he said.

As background, Edison was arrested by the KPK in a sting operation (OTT) on Monday (08/06). The KPK subsequently named Edison a suspect on Tuesday (09/06).

In addition to Edison, the KPK has named three others as suspects:

  1. The Regent of Muara Enim, Edison;

  2. The 202ng Secretary of the Department of Education and Culture, Abi Nurwardani;

  3. The Regent’s nephew, Adi Triyadi;

  4. The marketing representative of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi, Cory Erin Hardi.

The KPK suspects that Edison received a bribe of Rp 500 million from Cory, which was allegedly delivered through Abi Nurwardani. The bribe was suspected to be a payment to maintain ‘good relations’ after PT MSA, acting as a supplier for smart boards, secured a procurement project from the Muara Enim Regency Government in 2025. Furthermore, Abi allegedly received payments from other partners within the Muara Enim regional departments. The KPK has seized approximately Rp 1.9 billion in connection with this case.

On Wednesday (10/06), the KPK also conducted a sting operation involving five civil servants from the BPK. The KPK subsequently named five suspects in the alleged bribery case involving parties from Edison’s side and the BPK. The KPK revealed that the BPK side requested Rp 1.6 billion to alter audit results.

Five individuals have been named as suspects in this case:

  1. Angga, representing the private sector;

  2. Titin Rita Lestari, a civil servant/technical controller;

  3. Edison, the Regent of Muara Enim;

  4. Cory Erin Hardi, marketing representative of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi;

  5. Fika, a Director at PT Millenium Solusi Abadi.

Bobby had previously been questioned by the KPK in July 2026. He was summoned again by the KPK last week but was absent, prompting the KPK to reschedule the examination.
