KPK Raids Silmy Karim's Residence
On Friday (5/6/2026), KPK investigators arrived at Silmy Karim’s residence at approximately 13:46 WIB. The investigators, wearing beige KPK vests, entered the premises after the gates were opened, accompanied by heavily armed Brimob personnel guarding the exterior.
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that Silmy’s house is one of the locations currently sealed. He explained that the search was conducted to uncover additional evidence. “As part of the sequence of events following the caught-in-the-act operation, SK’s house is one of the points that has been sealed. The KPK believes that this search will yield the additional evidence required by investigators to help clarify this case,” said Budi.
It is reported that Silmy Karim was officially detained by the KPK on Thursday (4/6). In addition to Silmy, seven other individuals have been named as suspects. The group is facing charges related to extortion and gratification. Investigators have also seized various pieces of evidence, including foreign currency in US Dollars and Singapore Dollars, precious metals, and several vehicles.

Silmy Karim (SK) – Deputy Minister of Immigration and Correctional Services 2025-2026 and Director General of Immigration 2023-2024
Saffar Muhammad Godam (SMG) – Acting Director General of Immigration 2024-2025
Jaya Saputra (JS) – Director of Stay Permits and Immigration Status, Directorate General of Immigration
Tessar Bayu Setyaji (TBS) – Head of Sub-directorate for Change of Stay Permit Status, Directorate of Stay Permits and Immigration Status, Directorate General of Immigration
Bagus Bramantyo (BGS) – Head of Sub-directorate in the Directorate of Stay Permits
Ronald Arman Abdullah (RAA) – Head of Central Jakarta Immigration Office 2024-2025 and Head of Class I Special Non-TPI Jakarta West Immigration Office 2025-2026
Juniadi Sri Priambudi (JSP) – Head of ITAS Status Change Team
Gusti Benar – Staff of the Stay Permit Sub-directorate
