The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) raided the South Sumatra office of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) on Tuesday (23/6) as part of an investigation into an alleged bribery case. The case concerns the manipulation of BPK audit findings related to several procurement projects in the Muara Enim Regency government.

KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated in a written release on Thursday (25/6) that investigators seized a number of items believed to be related to the case. These included audit working paper documents, documents detailing the changes from a Qualified Opinion (WDP) to an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) specifically for the Muara Enim Regency government, documents related to efforts to make further changes after a KPK sting operation, and indications of alleged intervention from the central BPK to alter the audit findings.

Budi said investigators would analyse every piece of evidence secured during the search. The KPK has previously named five suspects in this case. Three individuals are alleged to have been the bribe givers: Muara Enim Regent for the 2025-2030 period, Edison, and two individuals from PT Millenium Solusi Abadi (MSA), Cory Erin Hardi and Fika. The other two are alleged bribe recipients: BPK civil servant and technical controller Titin Rita Lestari, and Augusz Dewanggara alias Angga, a private sector party. The latter is suspected of being a confidant of BPK Member V, who has the initials BAR.
