KPK Questions Rejang Lebong DPRD Member in Former Regent Bribery Case
The KPK has questioned Anton Doriska (ADO), a member of the Rejang Lebong Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), as a witness in the bribery case involving former Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri Thobari. The KPK questioned Anton regarding the management of tender packages.
“The witness was questioned on the management of tender work packages, including communications with relevant parties,” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told journalists on Monday (25 May 2026).
Anton was questioned at the KPK building on Jalan Kuningan Persada in South Jakarta today. He has not disclosed details of his involvement in the tender process.
Previously, the KPK has named five suspects in the case. They are:
Muhammad Fikri Thobari, former Regent of Rejang Lebong (2025-2030 term)
Hary Eko Purnomo, Head of the Rejang Lebong Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlements Agency (PUPRPKP)
Irsyad Satria Budiman, a representative of PT Statika Mitra Sarana
Edi Manggala, a representative of CV Manggala Utama
Youki Yusdiantoro, a representative of CV Alpagker Abadi.
Thobari is suspected of receiving a total of Rp 1.7 billion in bribes from several projects. The case began when the Rejang Lebong Regency Government planned to execute several projects in early 2026.
KPK’s Deputy for Enforcement and Execution, Asep Guntur Rahayu, stated that the projects were under the Rejang Lebong Regency PUPRPKP Agency. Asep said the total budget for these projects reached Rp 91.13 billion.
Asep said the bribery for project kickbacks amounting to Rp 980 million was paid in installments via intermediaries. Additionally, he noted that the kickback values from the three parties varied.
Asep also alleged that Thobari received an additional Rp 775 million in bribes, which he suspects was carried out repeatedly.
