Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) questioned Rejang Lebong Regency DPRD member Anton Doriska as a witness on Monday (25 May) to investigate tender package works within the Rejang Lebong Regency Government, Bengkulu.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told journalists in Jakarta on Monday: “The witness was questioned regarding the management of tender package works.”

Budi stated that Anton Doriska was questioned to probe his communications with parties involved in the KPK’s corruption case. Anton Doriska was questioned as a witness in the bribery case involving former Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri Thobari. He arrived at 9:04 AM WIB to comply with the summons.

Previously, on 9 March 2026, the KPK arrested former Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri Thobari, Deputy Regent Hendri, and 11 others in a corruption sting operation related to alleged bribery in projects within the Rejang Lebong Regency Government, Bengkulu.

On 10 March 2026, the KPK took the regent, deputy regent, and seven others to Jakarta for intensive questioning. On the same day, the KPK announced Muhammad Fikri Thobari as one of five suspects in the corruption case involving bribery.

On 11 March 2026, the anti-corruption agency disclosed the suspects’ identities: Muhammad Fikri Thobari (MFT), Rejang Lebong Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, and Settlements Head Hary Eko Purnomo (HEP), Irsyad Satria Budiman (IRS) of PT Statika Mitra Sarana, Edi Manggala (EDM) of CV Manggala Utama, and Youki Yusdiantoro (YK) of CV Alpagker Abadi.

The five suspects are suspected of involvement in bribery related to project kickbacks within the Rejang Lebong Regency Government for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. The KPK alleges that Muhammad Fikri Thobari demanded project kickbacks of 10-15% from the three private contractors. The funds are suspected to be used for specific purposes, including planned distribution of holiday allowance (THR).
