The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) interrogated the Director General of Forestry Planning at the Ministry of Forestry, Ade Tri Aji Kusumah, and the Director of Mineral and Coal Revenue at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Totoh Abdul Fatah, on Tuesday.

“The interrogation was conducted at the KPK Merah Putih Building,” stated KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a statement to journalists. According to gathered information, Ade Tri Aji Kusumah arrived at the KPK Merah Putih Building at 09:41 WIB, while Totoh responded to the investigators’ summons at 09:35 WIB.

In addition to these two witnesses, the KPK also summoned six other individuals, including entrepreneurs, senior officers from PT Pacific Global Utama, a legal department head from PT Putra Perkasa Abadi, a supply chain management administrator from PT PPA, a civil servant from the Kutai Kartunaegara Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), and another entrepreneur.

The KPK previously named three corporations as suspects in a suspected gratification case involving payments per metric ton of coal production, which implicated the former Regent of Kutai Kartanegara, Rita Widyasari, in February 2026. The companies involved are PT Sinar Kumala Naga (SKN), PT Alamjaya Barapratama (ABP), and PT Bara Kumala Sakti (BKS).

KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo confirmed that the three corporations were designated as suspects in February 2026 based on sufficient evidence. “The three corporations are alleged to have conspired with Rita Widyasari to receive the said gratifications,” Budi stated.

In connection with this case, investigators also interrogated several witnesses on Wednesday, including the President Director and Director of PT SKN, as well as a finance staff member from PT ABP. Investigators questioned the directors of PT SKN regarding the receipt of gratification funds that were allegedly enjoyed by Rita Widyasari.
