Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is deepening its investigation into PT Finnet Indonesia, a subsidiary of state-owned PT Telkom Indonesia, in connection with the digitalisation project for PT Pertamina’s petrol stations (SPBU). KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the investigation advanced with the examination of VP Business Development of PT Finnet Indonesia, identified by the initials DON, as a witness in the suspected corruption case on Thursday (18/6). “The witness attended. Investigators are probing his knowledge regarding PT Finnet Indonesia as a Telkom subsidiary that entered the procurement chain for EDC (electronic data capture) devices in the SPBU digitalisation project,” Budi told journalists in Jakarta on Friday. A number of witnesses have been summoned since 20 January 2025 to investigate the matter. The KPK has also named three individuals as suspects, although their identities have not been fully disclosed to the public. Subsequently, on 6 October 2025, the KPK revealed that one of the suspects in the SPBU digitalisation case is also a suspect in the alleged corruption case involving the procurement of EDC machines at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia for the 2020-2024 period, namely Elvizar. Based on gathered information, the two other suspects are a former Telkom director with the initials DR and a former Telkom employee with the initials WR.
