KPK Probes Bulog's Rice Pricing in Social Assistance Corruption Case

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined a Perum Bulog official, Epi Sulandari, as a witness to investigate the formation of rice prices in the alleged corruption case related to the distribution of social assistance under the Family Hope Programme (PKH). KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated on Friday that the investigation focused on Bulog’s pricing process for distributing rice to the regions. Epi currently serves as the Head of the Institutional Relations Division at Perum Bulog. In the context of the case under investigation, she was examined in her capacity as the Head of the Operational Planning and Food Data Division of the Directorate of Operations and Public Services for Rice at Perum Bulog in 2020. Budi explained that the inquiry into the pricing mechanism was necessary for investigators to compare Bulog’s prices with the price offers made by the Ministry of Social Affairs to provider companies. The examination is part of the investigation into the alleged corruption in the distribution of rice social assistance for beneficiary families of the Family Hope Programme at the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2020. The KPK previously announced the development of the case on 19 August 2025, naming three individuals and two corporations as suspects. The anti-graft body estimates the case caused state financial losses of around Rp200 billion. The three individual suspects are the President Commissioner of PT Dosni Roha Logistik and President Director of PT Dosni Roha Indonesia, Bambang Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo, also known as Rudy Tanoe; Expert Staff to the Minister of Social Affairs for Social Change and Dynamics, Edi Suharto; and President Director of PT Dosni Roha Logistik for the 2018-2022 period, Kanisius Jerry Tengker. Additionally, the KPK has named PT Dosni Roha Indonesia and PT Dosni Roha Logistik as corporate suspects.
