Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is probing parties suspected of gaining benefits in the procurement of digitalisation for public fuel filling stations (SPBU). KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated in Jakarta on Thursday that the investigation involves, among others, the examination of George Filandow, Director of PT Smartweb Indonesia Kreasi, as a witness on 15 April 2026. “In the examination, the witness was questioned regarding the benefits obtained by the parties in the SPBU digitalisation procurement process,” he said. Several witnesses have been summoned since 20 January 2025 to delve into the case. The KPK has also named three individuals as suspects, although their identities have not been fully disclosed to the public. Subsequently, on 6 October 2025, the KPK revealed that one suspect in the SPBU digitalisation case is also a suspect in the alleged corruption case of EDC machine procurement at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk for the period 2020–2024, namely Elvizar. Elvizar is known to have served as Director of PT Pasifik Cipta Solusi during the SPBU digitalisation project and as President Director of the same company in the EDC machine procurement case.
